This is my final outcome for my Editorial Design module - using the text 'Undersea' by Rachel L. Carson. 

In this module, we were tasked with designing a typographic book - using only typography with a maximum of 3 colours. I decided to take the theme of this text a bit more abstractly by creating patterns that represent the sea or waves to give the book a visual connection to the text. I also used lower opacities in order to layer elements of design to create different shades of blue. 

Using French folds to create this book, I was able to carry design elements over the spreads to the next page which helped have flow and continuity throughout the book.
